Does my child need to speak Spanish to enroll?
No! Our program is designed for children of all Spanish backgrounds, with a primary focus on developing Spanish as a second language for non Spanish speaking families as well as heritage Spanish speaking families.
Is Part-time attendance available?
No, Sonrisas Preschool is designed as a full-time immersion program, 4 hour class M-F. Our curriculum is specifically tailored for beginners with little to no Spanish background, and consistent attendance is crucial to achieving proficiency by the end of the school year.
Does Sonrisas accept payments from Washington State Subsidy?
No, we currently don't participate in state subsidy programs for preschool. To ensure our full-time immersion experience and maximize language learning, we focus on a smaller class size and specialized curriculum. This allows for deeper teacher interaction and a program tailored specifically for Spanish immersion.
